Acts of Kindness

They say you can give gifts to others all year long....So here are some of them that you could share with others...All it takes is for you to be more caring and loving....and you could really make a difference and be a better person....with these acts:

1. Smile

2. Be optimistic

3. Explain patiently

4. Keep a confidence

5. Share an experience and offer hopefulness

6.  Say "thank you"

7.  Provide a shoulder to lean on

8.  Tell the truth, but with kindness and tact. Ask, "Does the other person really need to hear this?"

9.  Look for something beautiful in one person everyday

10. Never miss an opportunity to love others

My inspiration...LOVE

When I was in sixth grade, that was a long long time ago^^, I remember that we were given some pocket bibles from missionaries upon our graduation day....and one of the missionaries told us to read the bible during our summer vacation and I did.... I had the chance to read about love on Corinthians and ofcourse never really understood what love is at that time and all I can do is just tell everyone when asked to define love that love is not selfish.....As I grew older it meant more aside from that it is being unselfish.....It has guided me in my everyday life as a source of inspiration.....having love inside you will humble you as well.....You will be inspired to see the goodness of your neighbor and learn to respect and accept him, and trust him that he could be good as well, that he has the capacity to respect and accept other people as well.....Love will make you see that the other person is inspired by love or could be inspired by love or could be capable of  spreading love.....I read about this that a person no matter how bad he is still somewhere inside that tough heart of his, there is love even if he denies it in himself.....deep inside of him yes he has love....He  just needed someone to make him  realize that he has  it.... The missionaries had somehow helped me through the years to keep my faith in love.....

True Capampangan^^

Just wanna share some funny stuff with you tonight^^....We Capampangans have this problem on diction....as when we mean the sound or the letter P we often would use the letter F instead of the P....and also we do not have the H sounds on some words that should have the H^^....or we often have no H to those that needed to have H.....

Once a friend of a friend told me a funny experience she had with the letter P....My friend was encouraged to forget about her problems by forgetting the past.....Her friend said to her....."Laura you know there's no need for you to become so sad.....(my friend became so serious and is beginning to see the light).....and her friend continued by saying "forget about your problems, fast is fast".....and so instead of trying to really grasp what her friend was saying she suddenly burst into laughter^^

Another one was a funny experience my sister had with her former student when she was still teaching at HAU....Her student volunteered to sing to the class when they were having some fun in school.....and he sang Depeche Mode's Somebody.....Everyone was so attentive when the student sang because he really had a great voice and the student sang with so much passion....but while he was singing Somebody.....that goes....

I want somebody to share
Share the rest of my life
Share my innermost thoughts
Know my intimate details
Someone who'll stand by my side
And give me suffort

And the class forgave him for that because he was really so full of passion while singing......but then he continued with....

And in return
She'll get my suffort

Haha and he continued singing , never minding how he had said the F instead of the P coz it wasn't intentional on his part.....Me too sometimes I accidentally ^^use the F with P or vice versa^^

And lastly there were sales representatives in our school last Friday....they were endorsing the product Vita Plus.....This medical supplement is a herbal medicine with lots of cure or treatment although one of the herbs mentioned can make your libido active.....So my co teacher said it is nakaka L, meaning it makes your libido active....Tita Zen said "wow so it can make your L(said it as EL) active"...So they laugh at her because she's already in her 60s.....So another co teacher mentioned how romantic Tita Zen is.... so she said....."Oh no Tita Zen is telling us that the Vita Plus makes your HEL so active (she meant the L or libido haha ^^)....Yes we can't help it.....Our being Capampangans would still show especially in our use of the English language or even the Tagalog language.....

Love is Deep

Valentine's day is one of the best holidays we have....Love is in the air as they say....I feel so happy just to see people giving each other some flowers, valentine cards, or chocolates etc....And when I see lovers being so sweet with each....I feel so "kilig" for them^^....and sometimes I would say "sigh" ehem^^ coz until now I'm still single^^yet I feel so happy seeing them...the thought that each person would sacrifice for their love ones would be so endearing to see, coz for me love has a deeper meaning and it's not just between husbands or wives or sweethearts...it has a deeper meaning which is beyond what we feel, know, or grasp....

Well to all the lovers out there "Happy Hearts Day to all of you^^" and to those who are feeling so sad or suffering at the moment....you are still blessed don't forget....Love is deep more than you could ever imagine.....

And may I dedicate this song to all the lovers out there....A Tagalog song which I find so romantic...

truth and love

This morning there was a lecture given by Bishop Luis Tagle, a Filipino priest who spoke about the meaning of love and truth......He said as St. Paul had believed and we too must that love and truth should come together.....We always say we wanted the TRUTH to rule our lives but sometimes "truth" is given to us so brutally or violently....it is without love.....Bishop Tagle said sometimes people would use truth to blackmail other people.....Some of us would tell our deepest secrets or some truths about us to other people or our friends, and in time what do we get?....They will use the "truth" to blackmail us when we're no longer friends, when they do not agree with us anymore,.....and that is not the "truth" that Jesus wants us to believe.....Even politicians use this "truth' to blackmail their opponents on such election campaigns.... They do not tell the truth to correct some falsehood rather use the truth for their own advantage.....Which is why we should only focus on the TRUTH that Jesus wants us to believe.....It is TRUTH that goes with LOVE.....A truth that never blackmails.....A truth that is JUST.....A truth that rejoices with LOVE....

needing people

Everyday I ride on a jeepney or a tricycle.....(Looking like these below)...Ofcourse these are the means of transportation for a simple and poor person like me^^.....At times we get to ride with different types of people....old and young, rich or poor, the locals or even foreigners or tourists....Most of the foreigners would ride these public vehicles when they're looking for a place new to them, asking the driver or the passengers to help them locate it....I think there's no dull moment when we commute in a public transpo....You become observant to all the passengers who'll be riding with you....it's one way to pass the time I guess....You can even hear some stories from the passengers themselves ehem^^who were too open to discuss some of their private lives while riding on a jeepney....though at times people could be so loud and  just don't know how to keep secrets and behave well in public...Although as for me I'm still able to learn some things in life when I commute and pass the time everyday by just hearing some stories of people from all walks of life....
